AboutBadgesCountriesTechnology

193.dk currently has 87 badges defined across all categories. Many badges are tiered — a lower badge is automatically replaced when you earn a higher one (for example, Globetrotter replaces Traveller). This means the maximum number of badges any single traveller can hold at once is 53. World Bank data is refreshed regularly. Selected geographic fields use the final archived CIA World Factbook dataset. Many badges are dynamic — the countries that qualify may change over time. Relative badges (Top 10%, Africa Specialist etc.) are recalculated nightly based on all users.
